Her research focuses on quality assurance in alternative assessment, open educational resources, equitable assessment, and online education for international learners. Java Jams in AI provides a dedicated space for higher education assessment professionals in to engage in discussions about the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in assessment practices. A year-long, volunteer-driven community exploring AI in higher education assessment. It is a space for assessment practitioners, featuring independently organized sessions. We focus on the crucial role of practitioners and the integration of Language Models (LLMs) in campus-based assessments. The community depends on presentations from the field.
